Seek Dharma Ltd is required to collect and process your personal information for the purposes of delivering the services we are providing. The personal information we collect:


Seek Dharma Ltd may collect, either directly, through our subsidiaries or affiliates, or through our agency and booking partners, for the purposes of offering or booking travel services on your behalf, such as your name, age, address, phone number, e-mail address, emergency contact information, passport information, your travel itinerary such as flight arrival details, travel medical information (where required), insurance details, ISIC information (where applicable), nationality, residency, nutrition preferences, travel and accommodation preferences, request details you provide us, trip destination information, and payment-related information. This personal information enables us to provide you with trip information, book accommodations, process payments, and provide similar travel services.


How we use your personal information:


We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and other relevant consumer protection legislation.


We will use the information we hold for the following purposes:


Booking and provision of travel services


If you book a Seek Dharma Ltd trip, Seek Dharma Ltd may rely on subsidiaries or affiliates or on local service providers. Please be aware that Seek Dharma Ltd may be required to provide certain personal information to our subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers for the purposes of delivering your experience. When you book travel services with us, you consent to collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by Seek Dharma Ltd — and the corresponding collection and use by the relevant travel partners or suppliers — for the purposes of administering and delivering the travel services you requested.


Your personal information may also be used for the purposes of:


Should you decline or fail to provide us with the personal details necessary for the processing of your booking, to confirm your ability to fully participate in the holiday arrangements or to comply with statutory requirements we will be unable to provide your holiday services and may be forced to cancel your booking, in which circumstances, we will consider this a cancellation by you.


Travel Agents and Agencies

Seek Dharma Ltd collects personal information (as described above) from agents and agencies as required to book Seek Dharma Ltd trips and be properly credited for such booking. If you are an agent travelling with Seek Dharma Ltd, Seek Dharma Ltd may also collect employment-related information to confirm your eligibility for travel-industry promotions.


Employment

Seek Dharma Ltd collects personal information from those individuals applying for employment or similar positions at Seek Dharma Ltd to the extent necessary to (i) identify the individual and (ii) evaluate their suitability for the applied for position. This information may include name, contact information, educational and employment background, residency and/or citizenship information, and other information necessary for us to screen potential employees and staff.


Service Provider Arrangements

In addition to the third party travel suppliers outlined above, Seek Dharma Ltd may transfer your personal information to third parties who provide services on our behalf. For example, we may use service providers to authorize and process payments, host our customer service operations, serve advertisements on our website, send email or other communications. Your personal information may be maintained and processed by our service providers in the US or other jurisdictions. We take our responsibility to protect and manage your personal data very seriously. Where you have been provided or chosen usernames and passwords for restricted areas of the websites, e.g. Your Booking account areas, you are responsible for keeping this information confidential. 

Where applicable, and to fulfill the requirements of your holiday, we need to share your data with companies situated outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Your personal data will be securely transferred within our group or to one of our reputable service providers who store and process this information outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Only the minimal amount of personal data required for a processing activity will be transferred and we can assure you that we have taken all appropriate steps to ensure your data is handled securely. We have appropriate agreements in place with our suppliers. 


Data Retention

Your data will be held only for as long as is appropriate, required and is legally permitted.

We will send you an email once per year to request that you review and update your details and

preferences, and to remind you about your right to opt out of our publications. We will include an

unsubscribe link within this communication.
